Fire Fighting Procedures:IN THE EVENT ELECTROLYTE IS EXPOSED DURING A
FIRE. DO NOT COVER OR SPLASH ELECROLTYE WITH DRY CHEMICAL. IF
ELECTROLYTE IS SPILLED, FOLLOW SPILL PROCEDURES.
Unusual Fire/Explosion Hazard:OVERCHARGING AT HIGH VOLTAGES (>2.35
VOLTS/CELL) GENERATES A POTENTIAL EXPLOSIVE MIXTURE OF HYDROGEN AND
OXYGEN GASES IN THE CELL HEADSPACE.

Accidental Release

Spill Release Procedures:APPLY BAKING SODA, SODA ASH, CAUSTIC SODA OR
EQUIVALENT TO NEUTRALIZE ELECTROLTYE. NOTE: ELECTROLYTE IS
IMMOBILIZED IN MINT-ABSOLYTE BATTERIES SO SPILLS ARE UNLIKELY.
Neutralizing Agent:BAKING SODA, SODA ASH, CAUSTIC SODA OR EQUIVALENT.

Handling

Handling and Storage Precautions:AVOID DROPPING, BANGING OR BUMPING
CELLS. DO NOT STORE CELLS AT TEMPERATURES ABOVE 130F. MAINTAIN THE
CELL CHARGE WHILE IN STORAGE.
Other Precautions:DO NOT SHORT CELL AS THIS WOULD CAUSE AN EXPLOSION
AND/OR CELL DAMAGE. USE NORMAL PRECAUTIONS TAKEN AROUND DC (DIRECT
CURRENT) POWER SOURCES FOR PERSONAL SAFETY.
